چکیده
Coordination among anatomical components (Ocular biometrics) of the eye [corneal and lens power (CP/LP), anterior chamber depth (ACD), thickness (LT), axial length (AL)] determine refractive state eye. Ocular biometric measurements are crucial for selection correct IOL prescription to achieve desired outcome after cataract surgery errors respectively. This was a cross-sectional study conducted at University Teaching Hospitals Eye Hospital in Lusaka– Zambia; from April June 2021, assess relationship between ocular biometrics errors. The involved measurement (Axial length, Lens power, thickness, depth, corneal dioptric radius, Pupil size) 205 participants aged 16 60 years which 64 (31.2%) were males 141 (68.8%) females. Refractive measured with KR-9600 auto keratore fractometer whilst parameters done using an Optilex 780 marvels 11 A/B Scan Dell ultrasonography machine autokeratometry. Out recruited participants, 135 (65.9%) had proportion types 66 (48.9%), 39 (28.9%), 19 (14.1%), (8.1%) myopia, presbyopia, astigmatism, hyperopia Variations showed that mean values pupil size greater myopic (2.7 mm, 23. 9 4.39 mm respectively). Mean much thicker Presbyopia (3.95+/-0.65) while varied across all REs. related thickness. Axial associated strongly Myopia more linked Presbyopia. Age (16 47) years, inheritance, childhood-onset increased increase age.
